Priced at 112,800-117,800 yuan Buick Releases the upgraded version of Buick Velite 6!

JULY - SAIC General Motors brand Buick recently announced the launch for the upgraded version of its BUICK VELITE 6. The upgraded model can go as far as 450km while coming with a myriad of other options. It has been priced between 112,800-117,800 yuan depending on the version bought considering the company has further distinguished the model by giving two versions by keeping in mind of customer preferences. 

The two versions; Shuxiang Plus and the Yuexiang Plus, retain the initial design of the Buick Velite series but differ only in terms of configurations.

The new VELITE 6 model has already sold 12000 cars by now. Much credit to its versatile light color scheme which has shown to be a great preference among the young. The fresher color options include cream white, coconut gray and mousse powder that look much like shades of cream white, pale grey and powder pink.

In terms of exterior, we may see that the new upgraded version of BUICK VELITE 6 still adopts the modern aerodynamic design of its series. A winged air intake inlet accompanied by a downward black trim on the edge of its headlight lamp. The vehicle does give the impression of a station wagon from the side, however, the overall visual effect of the car is rather pleasing with its black suspended roof, black taillights and black lines on the rear bumper.

Looking at the interior of the model, it seemed like the car designer understood the royalty yet simplicity of the color black and so the interior is fully immersed in it.

The central control console still adopts an encircling design, equipped with a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, a 10-inch full LCD dashboard and a 10-inch high-definition touch screen, and equipped with Buick eConnect which is powered by the Zhilian Technology.

If dwelling into deeper configuration upgrades, the new model now comes equipped with side and head airbags, fixed-speed cruise and a keyless entry from the driver's side.

In terms of endurance, this new 450km version of the pure electric series comes with an upgraded control algorithm increasing its driving performance. With CLTC up to 100km, the running conditions are further optimized by a 12.5kWh battery. This battery can charge up to 30%-80% in 30 minutes at room temperature.

Moreover, the car comes equipped with a high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 130kW and a maximum torque of 265N·m.

Not to forget, this version also comes with an Intelligent water circulation temperature management system which can significantly enhance the environmental adaptability of vehicles.
